A BILL to repeal article nine, chapter sixty-a of the code of
West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, relating to the controlled substances monitoring
act.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
§1. Repeal of article creating the controlled substances
monitoring act.
Article nine, chapter sixty-a of the code of West Virginia,
one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, is hereby
repealed.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to repeal the Controlled
Substances Monitoring Act that requires the recordation and
retention in a single repository of information regarding the
prescribing, dispensing and consumption of certain controlled
substances by the Board of Pharmacy.
